Katja founded Rufflife together with her husband in 2008 as a dog walking and pet sitting service in Brooklyn.

For 9 years, Rufflife's experienced team of dog walkers provided exceptional pet services to several of Brooklyn's neighborhoods before Katja and her husband Jason made the decision to move their two daughters and 3 dogs out of the city. 

At their new home in Northern Westchester Rufflife Country Boarding was born. 

What started as an expansion of the dog walking business, was met with such enthusiasm from clients and pups that the decision was soon made to let go of the dog walking business and focus exclusively on offering loving and fun dog vacations for city dogs. 

Rufflife Country Boarding now offers in-home dog boarding to a growing client base from all over New York City and the Tristate area.
